ACC Day 3: Green

Today's inspiration for the Advent Calendar Challenge was "green". I actually did this earlier than usual so that I could wear it to my husband's work Christmas party last night! I wore Pahlish Stroke of Luck, a true green jelly packed with glitter and it had an easy application and was opaque in 2 coats! I do wish I'd worn undies with it though because I ended up leaving a HUGE gap because glitter is hard to clean up.

I also chose to finally wear my Nail Veils by Chronicle Stones. In case you haven't heard of these, they are gorgeous reusable jewelry for your nails! You can set them with nail glue (which I used), craft glue, or even gel polish or a thick topcoat. Mine lasted through the night easily with just nail glue, though they were easy to pop off when I went to bed... I probably shouldn't have done that but I was tired and scared I'd poke myself, hah! I hope you're ready for a ton of pictures!

I think this is the most photos I've ever taken of one mani, and posted! Partly because I finally figured out how to shoot in RAW on my DSLR, and edit them better.. I know I normally don't use props but I needed something to help show off the Nail Veil better so that's where the ornament came in! I'm also excited to share with you that I bought a new lens for my camera, a 55-200mm lens so I should get that in the mail this week, and hopefully have nicer looking photos soon!
