Winter Collection swatches pt. 1

Today I wanted to share with you some swatch spam of my newest collection, the Winter Collection (due for release on Dec. 1st). These may not be traditional red-and-green polishes for this holiday season but they still have a lovely, blingy quality to celebrate with! I am so excited about this collection, I've been slowly leaking sneak peeks all over the internet (such as Instagram and Facebook). I'm splitting these swatches up into 2 posts, because um, these are swatches from before I changed my nail length/shape so I'll do the others with my new nail shape!

First I have Feliz Navidad to show you. I wanted something "rose gold" for the holidays (as a subtle hint to my husband that I want some rose gold jewelry!) and I ended up with this very neutral nude-pink with holo pink glitters, and gold glitters & shimmer. My photos don't capture how shimmery and lovely this is. I didn't even intend to, but somehow this is a perfect match for my skintone!

Also, I'd like to add that this polish should be totally work-appropriate for those of you in an office setting. I know glitter can be a "no-no" but this one is seriously subtle in real life, only you will know and it will brighten your day, guaranteed!

All photos are 2 coats of Feliz Navidad

This polish is called The New Year. It is nearly impossible to photograph, that's why the silver glitters look black or dark in some photos. So there are several different lighting scenarios here.. Let me assure you, this is one seriously blingy glitter topcoat! It's a mix of silver and white glitters (including bar glitter) that goes well with anything. I particularly love it over blue, so here it is with Illamasqua Noble:

These polishes will be available in my Etsy shop on Dec. 1st at 5pm EST. Don't miss them!

  1. Fortunately, my boss doesn't care how my nails look, so I can wear glitter polishes all the time. But Feliz Navidad will be great for business meetings, so I think I'm gonna buy a bottle. Actually, I'm pretty sure about that :-)

    1. Lucky you! I know I'd be so sad if I worked somewhere that I couldn't wear whatever polish I wanted (within reason)! I'm excited to try out more subtly-glittery polishes like Feliz Navidad for future collections!

  2. Love the new collection and can't wait to see part II. I'm glad to see a holiday collection that's not a bunch of red and green polishes, neither colour is a particular favourite of mine.

I hope you get your rose gold jewelry! I don't own any, but it is so pretty!

    1. hehe, pt. 2 is posted now! I hear you about Holiday collections.. though I'll be buying a couple of red-and-green polishes for fun, I knew I wanted to think a little outside the box for the Holidays!

I need to go nudge my husband about getting me some jewelry, haha!
