The Stars in Her Eyes

Last week when I was sick with the flu, I tried to do some retail therapy.. it didn't make me feel less sick, but it did give me some awesome mail for the next week or so! One of those things was a couple of Lynnderella polishes, and today I have Lynnderella The Stars in Her Eyes to show you!

Isn't it gorgeous and celestial? Those mini stars are something special, I really love them. I decided to do a fun layering project, so I started out with Cult Nails Time Traveller (a lovely opaque dark blue jelly), then did a layer of Girly Bits Cosmic Ocean to add some duochrome-y green shimmer. Then I did one coat of Lynnderella The Stars in Her Eyes, and 2 coats of Gelous and 1 coat of Seche Vite to make it glossy & smooth.

 It's like an easy version of galaxy nails, right?! It wasn't my intention but I feel I accomplished galaxy nails, haha. I love this combo of polishes.It's so sparkly and dimensional. I must add that the stars in the Lynnderella are of course thick and probably *need* the two coats of Gelous (or whatever you use to smooth glitters) before your quick-dry topcoat. That said, I expected it and am so pleased with my polish!
