FOTD, hair, rambling!

It's been a few days since I've posted - truth is, it's been a crazy week for me. But I have been experimenting with my hair a bit, trying to find ways to style it, and am happy to report that it looks best (in my opinion) if I let it airdry with a texture paste in it! No blow-drying, no babysitting or anything! Though the paste makes it oily faster, so I've had  to was it more often, but that's not a big deal since it dries so much faster. Oh, as for the hair paste/wax I love, Pantene Pro-V Texture Pomade! I did buy & try the ShortSexyHair Piece Out mousse, but it made my hair sticky :(

I also will be trying to post regarding my oil cleansing method. I wasn't sure if it was helping my skin, so I didn't post about it and stopped oil cleansing... HUGE mistake! My skin went horrible, so now I can tell it was making a good difference. (Notice all my breakouts? ugh)

I parted my bangs further to the side today, I feel very Justin Beiber, lol! Oh, and did I mention I've been watching Glee? My friend Lauryn talked me into it, and I've rediscovered my love for pop music - I'm literally listening to old school NSYNC right now! And today I chose to listen to the Don't Stop Believin' cover by the Glee cast instead of the original (and I love me some Journey, you don't even know!) I've gotten through season 1 & 2 and need to find 3 now (might have to sign up for Netflix again just for it!) Anyways, here's my makeup breakdown:

So this is the GAP sweater I wore today.. I had to go sweater shopping, and luggage shopping this past week because I'm taking a top secret trip to visit a friend soon! But shhh... Also, I've been looking to Ginnifer Goodwin's Once Upon a Time character Mary Margaret for outfit inspiration lately, I mean she inspired my haircut and now my clothes! Maybe I'll post an inspiration post this week. Plus OUAT is back!!!!! I can not wait!!!!!!! omg, I'm obsessed.

And now this quick comparison. So, I love Orly's Galaxy Girl nail polish, it was one of the first Orly's I ever bought, when I first got into nail polish - a gorgeous  purple base with large shimmer that is mostly aqua but goes to pink on the edges. So when I spotted this lipgloss, Hard Candy Exotic, it has the same shimmer and I had to have it! It's not too sticky, though it's brown-er than the nail polish.  The only disappointment is that because the base is actually very sheer, so the glitters have a funky brown color if the light is not shining directly on it (my lips look dirty, look at the photos!)
