Awhile back I was inspired by the talented Chalkboard Nails to do a "spiral rose" mani. Basically you dot on a color, then using a striping brush you paint a spiral over the dot for a rose. Add leaves and you're done!
Obviously mine could be improved by finer lines, smaller flowers, and probably a few more mistakes I made: but regardless, I was very pleased with this mani considering it's my first nail art that didn't fail (besides gradients).
Colors used were:
Base - Illamasqua Nudge (pictured)
Flowers - Illamasqua Monogamous (light pink) and Lament (coral)
Leaves - Essie Mojito Madness
Beautiful nail polish. I want that on my nails too.
